Cold Steel's Recon 1 Tactical Folder could be considered by some to be the most rugged and indestructible knife ever. It offers a 4" AUS-8A stainless steel blade coated with black Teflon for corrosion resistance. This knife offers tough G-10 handle scales and a pocket clip. The huge tactical blade is held open with Cold Steel's patented Tri-Ad lock mechanism that holds up to 150 pounds of weight.

Very good knife with one exception the serrations are hard to sharpen.
No store carrier anything for the small groves.

Dang good knifeI paid $85 for this knife at my local retailer. It's some of the best money I've ever spent. This knife is very light for it's size, the knife snaps open and the great locking system catches with the flick of your wrist, great for quick deployment. The knife it's self looks dang good, it's dark and non reflective, so if your purchesing it for tactical use it's great. Came out of the box sharp enough to shave with. The only possable problem I could see with it, is that the G10 grips (they work and feel great) in combination with the very tight pocket clip, can take a good tug to get off the hem of your pocket, but coming from someone who lost their last folding knife to it's slipping out of their pocket, I'm perfectly fine with it's tight fit to your pocket. Perfect knife for personal or "professional" use. It gets 5 stars from me, I'm considering buying more styles of this same knife, I have the Half ser" tanto blade, the serades are good, sharp, and do their job.
